Sealcorp opens up trading
Sealcorp is about to add a share trading facility for financial planners to the Asgard master trust.
The Asgard Share Portfolio Account will be rolled out next week. The account can be linked to an Asgard managed fund account and will allow for the consolidation of reports on all of an investor's Asgard investment accounts.
Sealcorp director of marketing Kate Mulligan says the account will provide planners with ways to more completely manage their clients' investments.
"It also allows them to better control the share trading activities of their clients, who often do this separately and outside the purview of their advisers," she says.
The Asgard Share Portfolio Account provides access to a panel of stockbrokers based on their ability to provide a premium share trading service to advisers, including Credit Suisse First Boston, JB Were, Macquarie Bank and Salomon Smith Barney.
Sealcorp currently has $12 billion under administration.
