Russell Investment Management will now have eight new funds on the RaboPlus online managed funds platform.

RaboPlus investments manager Tim Hewson said the addition of Russell’s multi-manager funds provides investors with a broader choice of global strategies and its diversified funds provide exposure to a best-of-breed, multi-manager, multi-asset and multi-strategy investment portfolio in a single fund.

“For customers who have trouble selecting suitable funds managers, funds and the right mix, these funds offer an ideal option," Hewson said.

Russell managing director, retail, Patricia Curtin said the global financial crisis taught investors the importance of diversification, asserting that the Russell suite of funds incorporates diversification across asset classes, styles and managers.
