Professional Associations Super launches mobile site

Industry superannuation fund Professional Associations Super has launched a mobile device-optimised site in what it says is a response to the rapid take-up of smart phones in Australia.
The fund said the site would provide mobile access to members of RecruitmentSuper, Accountants Super and Australian Enterprise Super, who can now access information about their superannuation accounts via their mobile phones.
Commenting on the new site, Professional Associations Super chief executive Megan Bolton said the move reflected a change in the way the fund communicated with its members.
“Australia is increasingly becoming a digital society and many Australians are looking for more accessibility and convenience by engaging with businesses online,” she said.
Bolton said the fund’s new mobile sites would allow members to register for online services and update their details easily and quickly.
Members will also have the option of having a pre-populated Choice of Fund form emailed to them when they change jobs.
“By offering our members the option of accessing their super details on-the-go, we’re opening another channel for them to be more connected with their super,” Bolton said.
