Nominations for the Money Management 2014 BDM of the Year award are now open and business development managers from all sectors of the financial services industry are eligible for the award.

The BDM of the Year award recognises outstanding BDMs and their ability to develop and manage relationships with financial planners/advisers, while building their company's business.

Nominations are open until 20 March, 2014. Anyone can nominate a BDM using our online platform or by downloading the nomination form and emailing it through to Melina Gouveia on [email protected]

Once the nominations are closed, Money Management's editorial panel will compile a list of finalists, which will be published in Money Management on 3 April. Financial planners only will be able to vote for state winners, while the outright winner will be picked by a panel of industry experts.

Finalists will also be judged on technical expertise, product knowledge and business acumen, and the value they add to the brand they represent.

The winners of the 2014 BDM of the Year will be announced at the Money Management/Lonsec 2014 Fund Manager of the Year awards ceremony at The Westin Hotel in Sydney on 22 May 2014.
