NAB withdraws ABN AMRO bid
National Australia Bank has withdrawn from its bid to acquire ABN AMRO Australia Holdings.
The bank notified the Australian Securities and Investments Commission late today that it had decided to withdraw from the sale process being conducted by Royal Bank of Scotland.
It did not state why it withdrew from the process.
