Property industry stalwart Rod Leaver has been appointed global chief executive officer of investment management at Lend Lease Corporation.

Leaver, who was formerly national director of the Property Council of Australia, succeeds Steve McCann in the investment management role. McCann will now focus on his role as group finance director.

Lend Lease has also recruited former Schroder Investment Management fund manager Tony Brown as chief executive officer of its investment management business in the United Kingdom.

The two key appointments follow Lend Lease’s decision earlier this year to establish an executive office to reflect its globally integrated business operations.
