Former ipac and Genesys head goes to Garvan MLC



NAB Wealth has named the new head of Garvan and MLC Financial Planning.
The big bank-owned group announced today that former head of financial planning for ipac Equity Partners and Genesys, Matthew Fogarty, would be the new general manager of Garvan and MLC Financial Planning replacing James Meade who has been promoted to the head of partnerships development role.
Confirming Fogarty's appointment, NAB Wealth Advice Partnerships general manager, Ross Barnwell, said Fogarty brought more than 20 years' of industry experience to the position.
"With more than 20 years of industry experience, Matthew is perfectly placed to lead MLC FP and Garvan," he said.
Fogarty will begin his new role on Monday.
