Financial Planner of the Year nominations now open



Nominations are now open for the Money Management 2013 Financial Planner of the Year award, with the winner to be announced on Thursday, 21 November.
Any Australian financial planner/adviser — self-licensed, aligned or employed in a practice/bank — is eligible. Anyone can nominate a financial planner or they can nominate themselves through our online portal.
Alternatively, financial planners can package their nomination in a PDF document and send it to [email protected]
To enter, nominees must provide a cover letter outlining why they — or the person they're nominating — deserve the award; a brief copy of their CV; and at least one written reference from a client, colleague or employer, in addition to providing the following:
- An outline of the nominee's career achievements (no more than 300 words)
- An outline of the nominee's input to the financial planning profession (no more than 300 words)
- An outline of the nominee's contributions to the community (no more than 300 words).
Nominations close on Friday, 18 October, with the finalists to be contacted soon thereafter.
In addition, Money Management/Super Review are also accepting nominations for our inaugural Women in Financial Services Awards, which aim to raise the profile of women within the industry as well as promote and encourage excellence through 11 categories.
Entries can be sent online until Friday, 25 October 2013. The winners will be announced on Wednesday, 20 November at the Ivy Ballroom in Sydney.
