Four key positions have been filled, with further growth expected and more senior positions in the offing.
Bill Hovey has joined as manager of financial planning services, responsible for building the group’s financial planning business and strengthen relationships with existing dealer groups. He has more than 20 years experience in the industry, and previously held the positions of National Heart Foundation sales and marketing general manager and AXA national business development manager.
Patrick Jackson has been relocated to the role of head of administration from his position at AM Corp as head of Fiducian Investment. Jackson has about ten years experience in the industry, and has also worked at Tyndall and Rothschild.
Iris Horrock has taken over the charge of legal counsel. She has 11 years experience as a lawyer, and previously worked at Minter Ellison and St George Bank.
David Bentley will head the finance team in his position as financial controller, he has about 15 years experience behind him and has worked for Asgard and Colonial First State.
The IT department has also received a boost with the appointment of Jan van Holten. He has worked on IT systems in Australia and overseas and has around ten years in the industry.
Fiducian managing director Indy Singh says the strategy behind the key appointments is to drive Fiducian’s continuing growth.
“Now we have people totally focused on these specific areas and we don’t need to outsource anymore. We have the control, accountability and efficiency,” he says.
