Colonial First State secures former Perpetual general manager
Colonial First State (CFS) and CFS Global Asset Management have secured Perpetual Investments’ former general manager, institutional relationships, global equities, Andrew Francis, for the chief executive role at its new subsidiary, Realindex Investments.
Francis, who has over 14 years experience in consulting, funds management and investment banking, was responsible for Perpetual’s institutional sales and servicing for global equities within the Asia Pacific region.
Prior to joining Perpetual, Francis headed Mercer Investment Consulting’s Australian equity research, consulted to several large funds, and was a member of Mercer’s investment committee. He was also a member of most of the asset class teams, including fixed income and tactical asset allocation/currency.
Realindex is to bring the enhanced Research Affiliates’ Fundamental Index methodology for the management of Australian global equity portfolios to the Australian market.
