Citi Australia and Alpha Structured Investments launch structured product on ASX
Financial services group Citi Australia and boutique wealth manager Alpha Structured Investments have launched a new structured investment on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), Alpha Results.
The one-year investment product has been arranged by Alpha Structured Investments, with a conditional capital guarantee provided by Citi Australia.
It is linked to the performance of an investor’s choice of three blue chip portfolios, structured to provide the potential for enhanced income or growth, with conditional capital protection at maturity.
The three portfolios comprise a conservative Australian share portfolio, a growth-oriented Australian share portfolio and an Asian-oriented growth portfolio.
Alpha founder Tony Rumble said the product offers investors “partial protection to help overcome share market volatility combined with potential for enhanced income and/or enhanced growth from a quality investment portfolio”.
He said the ASX listing would provide financial advisers with the “flexibility of using their platforms to hold Alpha Results, and is also part of the open-ended design which makes the investment accessible to as many investors and advisers as possible”.
