CBA appoints group head of strategy

The Commonwealth Bank has announced the appointment of Annabel Spring as group head of strategy.

Spring’s most recent position was managing director, head of global strategy and execution for Morgan Stanley in New York.

She takes over from Ian Narev who was recently appointed to group executive business and private banking.

The group’s chief executive officer, Ralph Norris, said: “Annabel is a high calibre executive who brings significant financial services and strategic development experience, both within and outside of Australia to our strategy area.”
