BTIM hires new portfolio manager, Macro Strategies
BT Investment Management has hired a new portfolio manager for its Macro Strategies boutique, appointing Jason Petras to the role.
Petras will report to Joe Bracken, head of Macro Strategies, where his key responsibilities will be to research, develop and implement quantitative strategies for the Global Macro fund.
He has a background in mathematics, engineering and finance, having previously managed portfolios for Bayhill Capital Management in the United States and PMA in Hong Kong. Petras also worked for Barclays Capital and Merrill Lynch in London.
