BNP rolls out portfolio analysis tool to Australasian clients
BNP Paribas Securities Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of BNP Paribas, is now offering its Investment & Performance Reporting (IRP) service in Australia and New Zealand to aid clients in monitoring portfolio performance.
The performance analytics tool previously excluded Australia and New Zealand clients despite being available to clients in other major markets in which the group operates, and includes performance measurement capabilities ranging from risk analysis through to fixed income attribution.
IRP, developed over the past four years withinBNP Paribas Asset Management, also offers detailed portfolio characteristic profiling against relevant benchmarks.
As part of the implementation process BNP Paribas Asset Management’s Paris-based performance analyst manager Nicolas Le Clech will relocate to Australia.
“The re-location of Nicolas will allow us to leverage the investment and experiences of [having managed] a large and experienced team,” says BNP Paribas Securities Services Australia and New Zealand head, Gail Burke.
Burke says Australia, New Zealand, Paris and London will now combine to form a Global Performance Team grouping all resources under one structure.
BNP Paribas Securities Services was formerlyCogent Investment Operations, but was re-branded in June after the BNP group acquired Cogent.
