AXA launches new adviser portal
AXA Australia has rolled out its new adviser portal called adviserweb, which allows both advisers and clients to interact with AXA through a single log in gateway.
The company said the online application consolidates around 20 separate websites to one and would put forward “ease of doing business”, giving practice owners, advisers, staff and client groups access to over 110 services and around 150 products.
Advisers will be able to write new business, navigate between different client records and manage multiple client portfolios as one.
Adviserweb was in development since 2006, with AXA investing over $40 million over that period. General manager for digital business, Cam Cimino said the company plans to continue investing at the same rate.
Cimino said while advisers now have all of the AXA products in one place, AXA is working with financial planning software providers for further integration and access to other products.
“Iress, Visiplan, Xplan and Coin are all becoming web-based, which will allow for better integration,” he said.
While the new portal had already been rolled out to advisers, all client groups will have access to adviserweb by the end of the year.
Cimino noted future steps also include the integration of the North platform, introduction of the secure web-mail service, and rolling out the online portal to New Zealand advisers and clients.
