Asgard restructures distribution team
Asgard has restructured its distribution team, with national distribution manager Lanie Conquest to depart the group.
Previously operating as two separate teams covering institutional business services and key accounts and distribution, there will now be one consolidated national team encompassing a state manager for each mainland state.
A replacement for Conquest has not yet been named. Asgard said Conquest had decided not to apply for the new consolidated role and will leave the business at the end of September. Conquest had been with Asgard and Securitor for 13 years.
Asgard is also in the process of appointing two additional key account managers in NSW as well as support roles for each position.
BT Financial Group general manager for platforms, marketing and communications John Shuttleworth said “the team will now operate in a model which better aligns our distribution team with our clients’ needs".
The group said the new model would increase the Asgard distribution team by four roles.
