Falinski joins Qld property company
Former Liberal MP Jason Falinski has taken up a role at a Queensland property company.
The property company, based in Brisbane, was established in 2019 and offered long-term property management services for landlords and owner-investors.
Falinski had taken a role as the firm’s chair this month following his election defeat in the Sydney seat of Mackellar to independent candidate, Sophie Scamps in May.
He had formerly been chair of the House of Representatives standing economics committee from October 2021- April 2022, having sat on the committee since June 2018.
He had also sat on the joint statutory committee for corporations and financial services from September 2016-February 2021.
Last week, it was announced former Treasurer, Josh Frydenberg, had taken a role at Goldman Sachs.
A spokesperson for Airtrip was unavailable for comment.
