State Street Global Markets has bolstered its Portfolio Solutions team with the appointment of four transition managers across the globe, including Greg Metzmacher in Sydney.

Metzmacher comes to State Street from BNY Mellon where he held roles at Mellon Transition Management. Prior to that he worked for Citigroup, where he helped establish transition management operations in Europe and Australia.

Metzmacher returned to Australia last year to take on the role as senior transition manager, reporting to the vice president of Portfolio Solutions in Sydney, James Woodward.

Metzmacher’s appointment boosts the number of transition managers in the team to five.

The other appointments include Brian Berg and Brian Moniz in Boston, and Tadateru Makino in Tokyo.
