Female excellence award finalists announced
Six women have been named finalists for the third annual Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) and TAL AFA Female Excellence and Advice Award.
Adrienne Rush of Bendigo Financial Planning Ltd, Dominique Bergel-Grant of Leapfrog Financial Pty Ltd, Catherine Robson of Affinity Private Pty Ltd, Eleanor Dartnall of Dartnall Advisers Pty Ltd, Justine Back of Back to Back Financial Planners and Dianne Charman of Jade Financial Group Pty Ltd were chosen as finalists for their contribution to the profession. The award recognises the challenges women face in the traditionally male financial advice space and encourages women to push the boundaries.
"Boosting the number of female advisers in the profession is essential. It is a well-established fact that Australian women face significant challenges when trying to grow and protect their wealth and many feel more comfortable seeking advice from another woman," AFA CEO Brad Fox said.
The winner of the will be announced at the AFA National Conference on the Gold Coast next month.
