BT amps up life insurance solution
BT has enhanced its online quote and application software, LifeCENTRAL+, which allows advisers and their support teams to share information online and apply for life insurance through secure data feeds.
The personal statement section of the application form has also been redesigned to be more flexible, and BT is waiving all protection plans policy fees currently applied on lump sum cover, as well as any income protection cover quoted and applied for in combination with a lump sum policy, until 16 December.
BT’s head of product, life insurance, Kim Cohen, said the enhancement was a direct result of advisers’ feedback.
“The changes we’ve implemented reflect adviser business models, allowing information sharing between advisers and their support staff, streamlining the application process and making applying for life insurance easier and more efficient,” she said.
