FPA aiming to expand Professional Practice program
The Financial Planning Association (FPA) has appointed industry veteran Ken Whitton to the newly created role of professional practice manager.
In the role, Whitton would focus on growing the FPA’s Professional Practice program, which would include expanding referral programs for certified financial planners and enhancing the Association’s service offering.
Whitton would bring over 20 years’ financial planning and superannuation fund management and advocacy experience to the role, including time as senior policy adviser at the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia.
“It’s wonderful to be joining the FPA at this exciting time of change for financial planning. I look forward to working with FPA Professional Practices to shape the future of advice and further advance professionalism,” Whitton said.
