Payments fintech appoints former CBA exec as CEO
Payments fintech, Beem It, which was founded collaboratively by National Australia Bank, Westpac and Commonwealth Bank (CBA), has appointed former CBA senior executive, Angela Clark, as its new chief executive officer.
Clark has extensive CEO, managing director and senior executive experience, including roles with CBA as executive general manager of the small business segment.
She was also actively part of the team that founded Beem It, and previously led the digital division of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
Beem It chair, Kim Anderson, said Clark was a seasoned executive with extensive experience in large multi-layered organisations, and she would bring a deep understanding of customer experience to the platform.
