Copia Investment Partners has hired Anthony Pesutto as general manager, marketing in its Melbourne office, responsible for the marketing and communications of the fund manager and its investment partners, OC, Ralton, Vertium and Chester.

Pesutto would report to chief operating officer, Sam Cole, who confirmed Pesutto would help build Copia’s profile and distribution footprint to Australian financial planners.

The new hire has over 22 years’ experience in the funds management industry, with prior roles as Zenith’s head of marketing and communications and head of marketing at Legg Mason, as well as marketing and investment research roles at Mercer and Lonsec.

The appointment follows the recent hire of Mani Papakonstantinos as distribution manager in December last year.
