Barnwell to leave MLC
MLC Australia general manager of advice, Ross Barnwell, has decided to leave the organisation and MLC has appointed Geoff Rogers as acting group executive – advice.
In communications to the MLC licensee network, MLC Wealth chief executive, Geoff Lloyd said Barnwell would remain with the business until 20 December, 2019.
Barnwell has been with MLC since 2012 and was appointed general manager of advice in 2017.
“He has been determined to help lead advice to a profession both within MLC Wealth and across the industry. I extend my personal thanks and recognition of Ross’s impact,” Lloyd said.
On Rogers, Lloyd said: “Geoff has been at our MLC Wealth executive leadership table since I joined and will remain so in this role. He is a seasoned leader with deep experience in financial advice and I appreciate his dynamic leadership contribution at this time”.
