It announced this week that Jim Scott had joined as Senior Vice President for Global Human Resources, Colin Matthews had joined as Senior Vice President for North American Sales and Account Management, and Nick Edwards as Director of Sales for Australia and New Zealand.

The company said the appointments were part of continued record business expansion that would add 50 per cent global headcount to the company during the current fiscal year.

The announcement said Scott would have responsibility for leading and managing all aspects of HR functions at Avoka and brought nearly 20 years’ experience in senior management roles to the role, while Edwards was joining Avoka in its Sydney office after having been Head of Sales for Australia and New Zealand for Experian Decision Analytics.

It said Matthews had joined Avoka after having held a variety executive sales leadership positions at fintech companies.

Commenting on the appointments, Avoka chief executive and founder, Philip Copeland said the latest executive additions reflected the momentum in Avoka’s worldwide businesses.
