Watermark Funds Management grows team

High conviction Australian fund manager, Watermark Funds Management, has appointed Platinum Asset Management's senior investment analyst, Simon Felton, as the firm's new portfolio manager.
Felton would work across all of Watermark's funds and specialise in capital goods, transport and infrastructure.
He worked with Platinum Asset Management for 12 years. Prior to that he worked as a lawyer and specialised in mergers and acquisitions.
Watermark founder and chief investment officer, Justin Braitling, said Simon Felton was a great addition to the team as he had a high calibre of experience.
The fund manager also appointed a new business development manager on the back of increased demand from financial advisers and self-director investors, who were seeking more alternative investments, Watermark said.
