Virtual advice to help regional planners
Midwinter Financial Services has integrated with virtual meeting tool, SuiteBox, enabling remote meetings between planners and clients.
The online meeting channel aims to push financial planning technology by providing more efficient ways to deliver advice for the planner, and to help seek advice for the client.
Midwinter managing director, Julian Plummer, said the integration came off the back of advisers inquiring about the ability to carry out remote meetings.
"In particular, the ability to carry out virtual advice has been eagerly anticipated by financial planners in regional areas, who often find it difficult to have regular face-to-face meetings with their clients," Plummer said.
"Using SuiteBox, an adviser can meet with a client located anywhere in the world. They can share and review documents, sign online and record the meeting using any web-enabled device."
SuiteBox country head, Ian Dunbar, said virtual advice was a game changer for financial advisers.
"…offering the opportunity for them to expand their geographic reach, service clients more efficiency, grow their business, and deliver advice to more Australians," Dunbar said.
