In the wake of a series of national adviser boardroom sessions, CommInsure is launching a tele claims service as well as new enhancements to its product offerings which are being met with positive feedback.

CommInsure head of life product and strategy, Franco Crapis, said that the new features within the offerings had been designed to assist advisers with flexibility of service and were based off feedback from advisers over the course of the company's boardroom series.

"Split income protection offers a flexible structure allowing clients to get the best of both worlds," he said.

"Advisers were very receptive to having the flexibility to offer their clients income protection split across two separate policies."

More generous expiry ages, and an ‘extended indemnity' income protection policy are among the enhancements to key products, which Crapis said would place CommInsure in a strong market position.

"Innovative personal touch with case management and claims assessment will put us in a strong market position," he said.

"I was keen to hear advisers' feedback after each boardroom session."
