Financial planning software provider Adviser Logic will relaunch its system in the coming months, with a spate of user interface enhancements announced.

According to AdviserLogic's head of product development, Daniel Gara, the enhancements are a response to "changing adviser needs" and will feature a complete redesign of the Adviser Home and a revamped Client Home interface — including a customisable home page with widgets and greater facility for integration with other planning tools.

"We are very sensitive to [adviser] feedback," Gara said.

"Our thinking is that the easier to use we make our software, the more time advisers will have to do what they do best — spending time with clients and building relationships."

Gara confirmed that Adviser Logic's new system has been designed with both increased functionality and "a more modern, fresh look" that is tailored to the demands of financial planners and advisers.

According to Dean Van Zyl, director of Wealth Elements, the updated features are a positive step for Adviser Logic in providing advisers with greater overall efficiency when using management tools.

"Being able to customise segmentation shortcuts and navigate between key management tools has made the organisation of tasks easier and less time-consuming," he said.

Van Zyl said the improved design will help his practice "easily manage" a range of functions — from daily tasks to reviews and fee disclosure.

"If these enhancements are a reflection of what is to come, then having this software at our disposal will only increase productivity within our business."
