Tribeca creates investment analyst role
Boutique fund manager, Tribeca Investment Partners has appointed Peter Moore to the newly created position of investment analyst, based in Sydney.
The role will see Moore reporting to portfolio manager, Chris Daily, with responsibility for investments across all of Tribeca's funds with a particular focus on further developing the firm's international equities capabilities.
Confirming the appointment, Daily said Moore had several years' experience in funds management from Boronia Capital where he was a research scientist focused on automated trading strategies.
"Peter comes with excellent quantitative skills and an ability to manage very large data sets in conjunction with sophisticated quantitative modeling," he said.
"He has a PhD from Delft University of Technology (Netherlands) and a Bachelor's degree from University of Sydney in Applied Mathematics, where he won a university medal."
Moore joins Tribeca's highly skilled quantitative team which consists of Daily, Sean Fenton and Andrew Cowley.
