Suncorp Group has this week announced another senior appointment — this time a new chief information officer (CIO).

Suncorp chief executive and managing director, Michael Cameron, has announced the appointment of former Medibank Private executive general manager, Technology and Operations, Sarah Harland, to the CIO role.

He said Harland would lead the Group's technology and business intelligence strategy with responsibility for all technology, digital enablement, cloud and infrastructure.

Harland will start at Suncorp in September, with the company's chief transformation officer, Clayton Herbert, continuing to act in the role until Harland commences.
