Mercer makes further key appointment
Mercer has appointed a new Financial Services Business Leader, Pacific, following the promotion of the current incumbent, Ben Walsh.
The company announced this week it had appointed Andrew Godfrey to the role.
The appointment represents another internal promotion and follows on from the recent promotion of David Anderson and the appointment of Ben Walsh as Mercer managing director and market leader.
Commenting on Godfrey's appointment, Walsh said he had held several senior and high impact roles within the Financial Services business over many years and had most recently actively led Mercer's strategy development and execution, established its transformation program, and positively impacted the financial management of Financial Services.
He said Godfrey had over 25 years' experience with Mercer and had had been promoted from his current position of Operations Excellence Leader.
Godfrey will remain located in Melbourne and will join Mercer's Pacific Market Leadership Team.
