LGT Crestone appoints two senior advisers
Wealth management firm LGT Crestone has appointed two senior female advisers to join its 94-person strong investment advisory team in Australia.
Amanda Hing would take on the role of partner and investment adviser and Ashlea Somerset would be an associate adviser, both joining from their roles as partners at advisory and investment business Sayers.
They would be based in Sydney and report to Michael Tritton, LGT Crestone’s senior partner and head of advisory, NSW and Queensland.
The advisers would collectively bring over 38 years of experience in leadership and financial markets and had worked together for several years.
Hing was formerly partner and head of family wealth advisory at Sayers while Somerset was a partner. Prior to this, both had worked at JBWere, Hing as an executive director leading the family advisory offering for family offices and ultra-high net worth individuals and Somerset as an associate.
The appointments followed various new initiatives within LGT Crestone, such as partnering with StepStone Group launch SPRING, an open-ended venture capital (VC) funds for Australian high-net-worth investors.
Michael Chisholm, chief executive at LGT Crestone, noted 2022 had been a year of exceptional growth and change for the firm.
“We’ve continued to see strong demand for best in class institutional style investments amongst high net wealth Australians, and our ability to deliver this in a number of areas has fuelled continued growth,” he stated.
