To help IQ Group's growth and strategic vision, Brian Peters has been appointed its new chief executive, the company announced on Thursday.

The superannuation and wealth management advice firm said Peters' track record in achieving business growth and efficiency would be key to his responsibilities.

Peters has 20 years' experience in leading consulting and information technology organisations, and has a background in people, change, and business management.

"I am joining IQ Group at a pivotal point in which the superannuation and wealth management industry is transitioning to a new future — and this is enabling IQ Group to also further innovate to support this change and meet market demands," Peters said.
