Do you work with a great BDM?
Business development managers (BDMs) are often crucial to businesses in various sectors of the financial services industry, and as the industry looks to rebuild trust and rebrand in the wake of the Banking Royal Commission they may prove invaluable assets.
Money Management wants to recognise the best BDMs in the trade, reflecting the good they do for both clients and their businesses.
We will crown a Business Development Manager of the Year at the 2019 Money Management Fund Manager of the Year Awards in May, awarding both state and overall winners. Nominees will be judged on their technical expertise, product knowledge, business acumen, and the value they add to the brand they represent.
Some of last year’s finalists describe it as one of their career highlights: “The support I have received is humbling,” WA/SA/NT BDM of the Year 2018, Bruce Tiver of Colonial First State, said, rating it amongst his prouder moments.
TAL’s Mitchell Ramsbotham, winner of the NSW/ACT category, echoed this, saying: “To be honest, this is a bit of a crescendo. Recognition like this and to have a nomination like this from peers and clients, whoever it may have been, feels pretty good.”
If you know a great BDM, nominate them here.
