Ardea appoints COO
Fixed income specialist, Ardea Investment Management, has appointed Tracey Kellett to the newly-created role of chief operating officer, effective immediately.
Kellett spent nearly six years with Challenger Limited in various roles, including head of investment operations support and derivatives.
In her new role, which was created in response to the firm’s recent strong growth, Kellett would be responsible for ensuring growth was undertaken in a measured and appropriate manner so the firm could continue to deliver consistent and reliable concerns for clients.
Kellett would also take on the responsibilities of the compliance manager, to ensure the firm meets all of its regulatory and investment compliance requirements.
She would also have oversight of portfolio and risk management systems development and continual improvement processes to ensure that the firm evolves with tech improvements.
