AMP Capital’s leadership team reshuffle announced
AMP Capital has announced a number of key appointments to its leadership teams in Australia, Asia and Europe to help drive the company’s international growth.
As a result, AMP Capital’s current director of Australia and New Zealand, Craig Keary, would assume leadership of the company’s operations in Beijing, Hong Kong and Tokyo.
At the same time, AMP Capital’s capital director, Asia and global head of portfolio strategy, Anthony Fasso, who is currently based in Hong Kong, would be returning to Australia. However, he would keep his portfolio strategy responsibilities and would remain on the AMP Capital leadership team.
In his new role, Fasso would be responsible for driving the firm’s growth through targeted mergers and acquisitions.
Following this, AMP Capital has elevated both Simon Warner, current head of global fixed income in Sydney, and London-based David Allen, global head of equities, to the role of global chief investment officer for their respective asset classes. They would sit on the AMP Capital leadership team and would be reporting to chief executive, Adam Tindall.
As a result, the company’s CIO of global equities and fixed income, Mark Beardow, would leave the business.
“Like any business, we need to continue to evolve our strategy to ensure we’re delivering for our clients,” Tindall said.
“AMP Capital is at an exciting phase of its growth towards becoming a pre-eminent global fund manager and these changes will help us reach that goal.”
