Online learning modules launched
Financial services legal firm The Fold Legal has launched the first three modules of its online learning Financial Advice Series.
Announcing the launch of the modules, The Fold managing director Claire Wivell Plater described the Financial Advice Series as "an experiential training solution which goes way beyond tick-a-box responses to written questions".
She said financial advisers and licensees who took the courses would not only have access to the extensive written material The Fold had prepared, but would also be able listen to audio on the topic and watch the animations.
The Fold's Financial Advice Series currently offers three modules on the Future of Financial Advice requirements:
- best Interests duty
- conflicted remuneration
- fee disclosure, opt-in and client engagement
Wivell Plater said more modules were due to be released later this year, with a course that would help financial advisers streamline their Statements of Advice coming up next.
The learning series has been accredited by the Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) and the Financial Planning Association (AFA) for CPD points.
