Iress appoints Canada regional head
Financial services systems specialist IRESS has moved to strengthen the leadership of its team in Canada with the appointment of Glenn Wilson as Managing Director and Regional Head, IRESS Canada.
The company said the appointment was in support of IRESS’ growth plans in the region.
Wilson was most recently responsible for building IRESS’ Financial Markets offering in the United Kingdom. He will report to Matt Rady, IRESS Group Executive, Financial Markets.
Commenting on the appointment, Rady referenced the company’s growth initiatives in Canada.
“We believe that the changing regulatory environment in Canadian financial services market will create an increasing need for the efficiency gains that leading edge technology can deliver and feedback we have received from the market gives us confidence that IRESS is well placed to support these requirements,” he said.
