Bravura appoints wealth management exec
Bravura Solutions is focusing on enhancing its development capabilities across its wealth management division, appointing Ramarao Velpuri to the role of global head of engineering across centres in Australia, Poland, India, New Zealand and the UK.
Velpuri would lead software for Bravura across the global business, with a particular focus on the software provider’s next-gen wealth management software platform, Sonata.
“It’s an exciting time to take on this role and I look forward to helping our clients benefit from Bravura’s operational scale and technology,” he said.
Velpuri previously held executive roles at Oracle and CA Technologies and was most recently the vice president at Capsilon Corporation. Bravura chief executive, Tony Klim said Velpuri was well placed to assisting the firm to reach its targets.
“Ramarao has extensive IT and operations expertise,” he said.
“We are confident that he will excel in this role working with our global teams to develop and deliver our IT processes and infrastructure to optimally support Bravura’s software development and client outcomes.”
