Zurich is planning to launch two new funds in the global equities space, its first new funds since the launch of the Zurich Investments Global Small Companies Share Fund and Global Property Securities Fund last year.
The company is also set to appoint two US-based based specialist managers to run the new funds, according to investments director Matthew Drennan.
“We’re looking to launch a couple of other funds in the global equities space and we’re talking to a couple of interesting managers in the US at the moment.
“Once we have completed the due diligence, and the managers have signed, we would certainly be making an announcement around that.”
The appointment of the two new managers will continue Zurich’s strategy of forming strategic partnerships with specialist investment managers.
