Zurich Financial Services Australia has promoted the chief executive of its' Australian Life and Investments business, Colin Morgan, to the role of Chief Executive Officer, Global Life, for the Asia Pacific region.
Morgan will relocate to Hong Kong to fill the role which he will take up from 1 January 2015 and in which he will oversee Zurich's Global Life strategic priorities and initiatives in the Asia Pacific region, including Australia.
Morgan will be replaced in his role within the Australian business by Tim Bailey who is currently for Zurich's Global Life business Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and has also held the role of Head of Strategy for Zurich's Global Life business.
Bailey will relocate to Australian from Zurich and report through to Morgan with his appointment taking effect 1 January 2015.
Zurich Financial Services Australia Chairman Terry Paradine said Morgan had successfully repositioned the Australian Life and Investments business and that Bailey was well equipped to build on the growth and profitability existing within the Australian life and investments business.
