To meet the increasing demand from advisers for up-to-date economic briefings, Zurich Investments has appointed Hans Kunnen as a consultant market economist. Kunnen joins Zurich from Colonial First State where he headed the investment markets research team.
In his new capacity, Kunnen will present at various adviser briefings and conferences to provide advisers with a stream of information and key advice on financial markets and the economy.
Kunnen has a wealth of experience and was previously chief economist of State Bank NSW from 1992 to 1997. During that period he also acted as non-executive director of Colonial First State. He has also served on a number of government and industry bodies, and has taught economics at Macquarie University in Sydney.
