Zurich Financial Services has outlined some key hires on the back of confirmation that it has received regulatory approval to proceed with its acquisition of Macquarie Life’s risk business.
The distribution team hires follow on from the company’s earlier announcement that it had appointed Dave Evans as its national sales manager.
The company this week announced that it had appointed Rhonda Morley and Mark Olivier as business development managers in NSW, alongside Jessica Brady who would be joining the risk strategy specialist team, and Klytie Sheppard, who had been appointed to the risk strategic accounts team.
In Victoria, it said that Lauren Styles had joined the company as a business development manager while in Queensland, Michelle Dolan, Peter Christopherson, Russell Townsend and Ryan Adair had joined the business development team, whilst Danielle Visser had been appointed to the risk strategy specialist team.
In South Australia, the firm has appointed Simon Betchley as business development manager while in Western Australia, Aaron Boddy has been appointed as regional manager with David Rees joining the new risk strategy specialist team.
Commenting on the appointment, Zurich Life and Investments head of distribution, Kristine Brooks, said the new team would be instrumental in bringing Zurich’s expanded product and service proposition to market.
