The managing director and head of Australian equities at Yarra Capital Management, Dion Hershan, has been appointed to the board of Australian United Investment Company.
The company confirmed Hershan’s appointment to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) this week, noting that prior to transitioning to Yarra Capital Management, Hershan had been head of Australian Equities at Goldman Sachs Asset Management.
Commenting on the appointment, Australian United Investment Company chairman, Charles Goode said Hershan had more than 20 years’ finance industry experience and had previously been a fund manager at Citadel Investment Group in New York and had also worked as an analyst and fund manager for Boston-based Fidelity Investments.
Hershan’s appointment became effective this week.
