William Buck will combine with the partners of Moore Stephens’ Adelaide-based business advisory, tax and financial services divisions, making it one of South Australia’s largest chartered accounting and advisory businesses.
Moore Stephens partners Andrew Craig and John Lampard, together with their employees, will join William Buck, increasing the firm’s size to 12 partners and a team of about 100.
The business will operate under the William Buck brand and be headed by managing director, Jamie McKeough.
“This strategic expansion is an excellent fit for us. Moore Stephens operates in similar markets to us and both client bases will benefit from access to a broader range of services,” McKeough said.
The merger is effective November 2, 2009.
William Buck currently has four financial planners and the financial advisory division accounts for around 25 per cent of its business.
