Tower Australia has managed to recruit Aviva’s state sales manager for Victoria and Tasmania, Craig Parker, as its own state sales manager for the same region.
Tower announced Parker’s appointment today with the company’s head of distribution, Patrick O’Connor, saying it reflected Tower’s commitment to the independent financial adviser market.
Parker represents the second Aviva executive recruited by Tower in recent months, with the company earlier this year announcing the appointment of Brett Smith as Victoria and Tasmania state underwriting manager.
Parker succeeds Pina Sciarrone in the state sales manager role, with Sciarrone taking on a new role outside the company.
