Life insurer, TAL, has announced its Community Foundation would partner with Orygen, a national organisation focusing on mental-ill health in young people, in a bid to raise awareness of mental health issues within the Australian community.
TAL group CEO and managing director, Brett Clark, said the partnership reflected the importance of mental health as an area where the insurer intended to lead the industry and challenge how employers handle mental health.
“We are proud to be partnering with a leading organisation that is driving reform in youth mental health in Australia and globally,” he said.
Orygen executive director, Patrick McGorry, said TAL was the organisation’s first life insurance partner, and they looked forward to helping young people across the globe access the best possible mental health services.
