With plans to grow its Western Australia operations, boutique dealer group Synchron has appointed Bernie Fernandes as WA state manager.
As the former state manager for Mortgage Choice in WA, he successfully led the restructure of the company within the region.
He previously spent more than six years in the Perth office of ING, where he helped to consolidate three national dealerships to one.
Synchron director Don Trapnell said Fernandes has the experience to spearhead the growth strategy in the west as the dealer group plans to replicate its success in Queensland.
"We have the welcome mat well and truly out for Western Australia advisers," he said.
"Our initial goal is to double our presence from 16 practices to 32 in the next 12 months," Trapnell said.
