Melbourne-based financial services firm, La Trobe Financial Asset Management has appointed a superannuation specialist to its board.
The company announced it had appointed Gerard Parlevliet, the former general manager of the Commonwealth Bank Officers’ Superannuation Fund.
Confirming the appointment, La Trobe Financial’s chief executive, Greg O’Neill congratulated Parlevliet on his appointment to the board and referenced his leadership, investment and corporate governance experience.
“Parlevliet’s extensive experience will prove invaluable and will assist us to meet the challenges and opportunities of growing our business in the years ahead. Our customers and our staff will benefit from the skills and experience he brings,” he said
Parlevliet is based in Sydney and will assist the company in expanding its footprint in the investment sector.
